Oriental carpets, nomadic kilims, tent bags, saddle cloths, bands, embroideries etc. of wool or silk, old and antique, used or mint, Turkmen and Uzbek silver jewellery. Anything from Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Turkestan and Khorasan; from Persia and Anatolia.
Decorative Carpets in the Orient
In Paotou and the surrounding province to the north of the Great Wall of China, in the old area of the Mongols, typical "blue-in-blue" or blue-beige carpets used to be knotted. Usually they were of rather small dimensions but here it is a large-seized picture rug dating to the Ch'ing-Dynasty.
